I'm spoiled

I know I'm spoiled but that knowledge does not help me today. David's job allows him to be in and out of the house all day long. I enjoy this very much. Well today he has been gone all day. He was given 2 tickets to go to the track. Bradley came over and went with him. I'm genuinely happy that he is getting to do this. The month of May is all about racing here in Indy. He called to let me hear the cars so I guess he is thinking of me :) I'm sure Bradley is getting some good pics too. You will have to check out his webpage http://photo.blsnelling.com/ . Meanwhile back at the "ranch" I'm ironing and wishing David was home.

The babies have arrived

They are hungry little guys and oh so ugly but we are happy. Sarah Brooke said she wanted to throw up after seeing them.

Field trip to the zoo

It was a beautiful day for a field trip. Cameron had the best time with his school mates. I think their favorite thing was the water park area and the playground where they played tag. The animals were just a nice distraction :) I love getting to be with him and his class.

It's a good day!

What a fun day. David fixed the meal and of course it always tastes way better than I can do. We love our Sunday dinners. He had 3 red roses on the table this morning, strawberry pie for dessert and a beautiful card.

Happy Mother's Day to my Mother and Mother-in-law!

I tend to live in the moment of family time and I don't remember to capture it. It seems like such effort. That is my excuse for not having perfect pictures to post but I wanted to let my world see and know who I'm thankful for this time of year.
My Mother...such a giver, full of energy (and if she runs low then a 10 min. nap will cure it). She is independent (has her own motorcycle), crafty, loves her babies (grandkids) and loves the Lord.
My Mother in law... I can honestly say I wouldn't trade her. She is a good listener, very feminine (even though she raised all boys). She gave birth to a wonderful boy and then I finished raising him. :) Just teasing. She is always learning (figured how to print from her camara) and she too loves the Lord.
This is just a nut shell of who they are. I love them both so much. Miles seperate us and that makes me sad but we are just a phone call away.
