Fresh cut Fall flowers

Ever have a friend that you can't out do? The other day I had the van so I went to help out a friend for a couple hrs. I offered to do things for her that I hate doing around here, like mop the floor, iron or wash walls. Somehow it sounded like fun to do them at her house. She opted to go to the grocery store while I watched her children. We had a lively time. She picked up flowers for her table while she was out and thought I would enjoy some too. Thought I would share them with you.

Wow! What an uproar! I'm sorry I missed all the fuss. And of all the people -- you are so sweet and I know you love your kids dearly. Guess some people were really bored. You didn't know so many were reading the Going Blog. Pretty interesting. And for the record - pack rat that I am -- I will throw away precious paintings after their display time. I am teaching my children the harsh reality of life :o) -- toughen up not everyone will think you are Monet. And also showing them benefits to a clutter free home!
Love, wl

Flowers are a very small token of gratitude for a friend who is honestly willing to scrub my floors and iron. Thanks again! I am glad you are enjoying the flowers. I am enjoying mine also!

Oooooh, I love these! (But don't you think they would look better sitting on a piece of artwork? Snicker. . .)

Martha, the baby and I (I'm 2 1/2 months along) have been too sick to blog hop here recently, so I was surprised by the uproar I just read on your blog. =D I do not like it when people don't have the nerve to sign their name, if they make a mean comment. It surely looks to me like all of the comments without a name were the same person. There was a mean person that commented on my husband's blog (on some older posts) the other day too, and of course, without a name!

I'm with you, my Sarah (WITH AN H) LOVES to draw and draws hundreds of pics each month. =D We keep some, and toss some. She loves to save everything, but I was proud of her for the other day she went through her room ON HER OWN and started tossing things in the trash. YEA! If you cannot tell, I'm NOT a pack rat! =) So, those of us who are Mothers, understand where you were coming from. We LOVE our children more than life itself, and we love it that they are thoughtful and creative, just can't keep everything. =)

Beautiful act of friendship you cleaning your friends house, and beautiful flowers from her too. Like Rhonda said, If you'll come to my house and help me clean right now (while I'm too nauseated to do it), I'll be GLAD to buy you some flowers too. HA!
Keep encouraged, you are among friends....WITH NAMES!! =)

Love, Heather =)
