It's big, it's ugly....

and it's the head of one of these Elk proudly displayed on the wall of the Elk's club here in Greenfield. You say how do you know? Well David's Real Estate office has their annual Christmas party there and it was this past Saturday evening.
It was one of those evenings where you make conversations with strangers. It is a buffet dinner, holiday attire (not fancy) and we had a baby sitter so I shouldn't complain but it is not my favorite kind of evenings. Usually the buffet is set up right in front of this large Elk head but they had it switched around this year. We left with our annual gift of Ham (delicious by the way) but felt like maybe we should stay and be the designated driver for everyone :) I assume everyone made it home without our help. I guess I will see them all again next year at the Lodge.

I remember those times. I always dreaded the annual Christmas party at work myself. The charming, friendly Martha I know responded with appropriate conversation I am sure....bette

I think that little black cocktail dress would be great :) Just kidding. You will look fabulous in whatever but I think it should be something new, don't you? At least it sounds like a good excuse to go shopping to me :)

I left a comment this morning at 5:30 but probably my computer was as cold as it is outside and it didn't go through. Anyway, I remember those business parties. Sometimes the only good thing was the turkey or ham or whatever the hospital was handing out to employees that year. Sounds like you got the ham this year. And the Martha I know made all the appropriate conversation I am sure....bette
