Stopped along the trail for a photo op. The pic below is completely untouched by any photo shop program. I really am looking that old. ha
While Mother was at work I set the table for supper. I had so much fun. I decided to use her china plates that belonged to Grandma Evans then I sorted through her kitchen linens in the buffet and chose the yellow placemats and napkins. The tulips were from her bathroom vanity. The pillar candle from the guest room, fresh strawberries and the delightful pedestal bowls that I loved tucked away in a cabinet. She had never put this combination together before. It was very cheery and dressy in the midst of country living. My practical Daddy thought it was sure going to be difficult to drink out of the glasses with napkins in them :-) I fixed baked pork chops, baked potatoes, broccoli w/cheese. Why is it more fun to cook in somebody elses kitchen?

Beautiful pictures, Martha! Can't wait to spend some time with your church this summer!
Martha, you are as beautiful as ever and also beautiful on the inside. Love you and looking forward to seeing you all next week.
Love you.
