Fulfilling an obligation
I feel as though I owe my loyal readers a picture of the man responsible behind the blog I recommended lately www.DavidGoing.blogspot.com. He does have a serious side to him but we cross our fingers in hopes that he is not called on to pray for fear of him bursting out laughing. It has happened before. I've heard it diagnosed as nervous laughter. This has happened to him on more than one occasion so it is a real fear of ours. Many have been subject to this nervous laughter, just inquire around of people that have played the piano for us. Our new pastor does not know of this. We have failed to inform them. Have a great day and keep me in your prayers.

My wife would like for everyone to believe that I am the one that comes up with the material on my blog. As you can tell from the pictures on Martha's blog, I have very little time to devote to blogging. I have trash to compact, kids to raise, real estate to sell, shopping to be done, camping trips to take and many other things such as cleaning up after myself on blogging. However, Martha approves, disaproves, comments and edits my blogs! Now do I hear some nervous laughter?
Uh-oh, not another one! Gene and I BOTH have that problem. We've laughed at funerals and accidents and all sorts of inappropriate times.
Sorry David I have to vouch for Martha on this one. You are scary to play the piano for! :) Still... you keep life interesting which isn't all bad. People who are prone to laughter are fun people to be around.

What amazes me is how David giggles and snickers and its all funny until he laughs out loud or snorts. THEN, all of the sudden everything is serious and he mumbles, "sorry...sorry." It's like he has to get it out of his system or something
What?!!!
This post and comments certainly have me snickering! :-) I have a problem getting "tickled" just by seeing others amused, so it is probably a good thing we attend different churches.
If I get laughing during church, I usually bury my face in my lap or purse, but that is a problem of late since I do not have much of a lap anymore. And sure enough the other Sunday something hilarious happened, and all I could do was shove my face in a book. It was so embarrassing! Sigh. . .I miss my lap.
