Fresh homemade wheat bread. I saw this recipe online and thought I would give it a try. Over Christmas my brother took the "fear" out of bread making. It smelled so good baking and it tastes delicious. Now before you go thinking- she has turned whole grain on us I must admit that I served this with fish sticks (cringing and hoping Tamra isn't reading this post :) fried potatoes and mixed vegetables. A girl has to do what a girl has to do.

Oh, my, Martha, how delicious those loaves look! I bought some whole wheat to make some bread after our revival in TN, because the pastor's wife's bread was so delicious, but I have yet to make any. I even got her recipe. It has honey in it. Does your recipe?Maybe this will inspire me looking at your bread.

Looks so yummy! We have been known to have fish sticks, Kraft Mac N Cheese and Green Beans at our house. So unhealthy, but yummy none the less. :o) Love the little grass man in the background!
Yes, Mom Going, it has honey and brown sugar. It was very simple to do. Go for it!!
Looks DElicious! Homemade bread makes any meal fabulous! I always feel it migrating to my thighs, though! ha! Oh well...life is short and bread is good! Hope that you are having a fun evening!
Martha, So delicious. I love to bake bread. So I say hooray that you have two beautiful loaves! xo Rachel
P.S. AND two postings in one day! It doesn't get any better than this!
Martha, Martha you are one very talented young lady. I am impressed. I make bread (and confession is good for the soul), I do it the lazy, easy way - using my trusty Sunbeam bread maker. And your family dinner sounded absolutely delicious. Good job, Girl....bette
Man where was that bread while we were there:) just kidding, I could almost smell it tho...DAD
Oh my! Those loaves look absolutely scrumptious! And just for the record, we have been known to have fish from a box at our house. Looks like you have the bread-making down to a fine art! Would you mind sharing this recipe?
I'll try to post the recipe soon--after I finish a slice of bread with butter :)
I'm DYING to try breadmaking! Pass the butter--er, recipe--please! :)
