The handiest gift...

When Dad was here last he brought me this trash basket for my kitchen. The tall kitchen trash bags fit perfectly in it. Because it is beautiful and I decorate with baskets I have it out in the kitchen and not tucked away in my pantry. I tell you it has been the handiest thing ever. Have you purchased something handy lately or been given a handy gift? Let me hear your story.

Love the waste basket... it's both beautiful and handy(your "Dad" is very talented)! I can't think of anything that I have bought lately; however, YOU, my dear, have given me two "handy" items in the past...including the microwave cover and the magic cloth! A big thanks to you! They have both made life easier, though I am currently "missing" the latter! Hope that you are having a fun evening!

Man who would have thought that a simple little basket would create such interest?....DAD

Dad, you think it is simple because you placed each piece where it should go but to those of us that don't know how it is beautiful, detailed and handy :) David (my editor) brought to my attention that I didn't tell everyone that my Dad had made the basket. Oops I guess I thought people could read between the lines. I actually thought I had put that fact in there.
